  • Botanical Name: Epipremnum Aureum
  • Common Names: Devil's Ivy
  • Description: This Air purifying plant is arguably one of the easiest plants to grow indoors. The pothos grows in a vine like fashion making it a great plant to have in a hanging display to fill up any empty space on a shelf or desktop. Place where the vines can fall freely or trail along a shelf for the best effect. Looks great grown in containers and hanging baskets. A terrific plant for tall plant stands where the trailing foliage will create a cascade of foliage over time.

Lighting: Pothos 'Golden' thrives in bright, indirect light. It's essential to place it in a spot where it can receive this type of lighting to help it grow beautifully.

Watering: Golden Pothos plants generally prefer moderate watering. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings to prevent overwatering, which can lead to root rot. Remember, it's always better to underwater than overwater your Pothos.

Humidity: Golden Pothos plants are quite adaptable when it comes to humidity levels. They can tolerate normal household humidity levels, but they do appreciate slightly higher humidity. You can occasionally mist the plant or place a small humidifier nearby to increase humidity if needed.

Soil: Golden Pothos plants need a well-draining, peat-based potting mix to ensure proper drainage and moisture retention for their roots. This type of soil helps maintain the plant's health and growth.

Temperature: Golden Pothos plants prefer average room temperatures ranging from 65-85°F (18-29°C). It's important to avoid exposing them to extreme temperature fluctuations and drafts to keep them thriving.

Fertilizer: Golden Pothos plants generally require minimal pruning. You can trim back any leggy or overgrown vines to encourage bushier growth and remove any yellow or damaged leaves to keep the plant looking healthy.
